A-Plus Professional Education Services

The NPPE Online Preparatory Course applies only to candidates wishing to obtain licenses from the provincial and territorial associations listed below. The course is designed for the 2.5-hour, 110 question multiple choice exam. For some associations, there are additional requirements that are not covered by this course. Additional requirement for the exam conducted by PEO

The exam is three hours in length and has 120 multiple-choice questions. Ten of these questions are PEO-specific and deal with the Professional Engineers Act, Regulations 941 and 260/08, and Ontario focused practice issues.. For PEO candidates sitting for the NPPE, we will provide a written summary (in bullet points) of the Professional Engineers Act, Regulations 941 and 260/08 which the ten additional questions of the exam will focus on.

Additional requirement for the exam conducted by APGO

The exam is 3.5 hours in length and consists of a 2.5 hour 110 question multiple-choice section and a 60-minute essay question. The NPPE Online Preparatory Course offered by us is suitable for the multiple-choice section of the exam conducted by APGO. Candidates need to arrange alternative means of preparing for the 60-minute essay question.

Additional requirement for the exam conducted by APEGBC

The exam is three and a half hours in length and consists of a two and a half hour, 110 question multiple-choice section followed by a one hour essay section. The NPPE Online Preparatory Course offered by us covers the two-and-half hour 110 question multiple-choice section. Candidates need to arrange alternative means of preparing for the one hour essay section.
